We perform a lively repertoire of music from Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana, with both traditional songs and contemporary classics. We sing in chiShona, isiNdebele, Setswana, Sesotho and isiXhosa.

We are based in London (United Kingdom) and typically come as a four piece band comprising of three marimba players and percussion. A variety of configurations with more or fewer musicians can be used to match your entertainment needs. We have provided marimba band entertainment at weddings, private parties, festivals, charity galas, Christmas carol services, markets, conferences, networking events, fundraisers and wrap parties, to name a few. We entertain brilliantly as background music or headliner entertainment.
Our marimbas come from Zimbabwe and are acoustic, requiring no electricity or micing up for most entertainment needs. We can set up anywhere - indoors or outdoors.
Our marimba band’s sound is full of energy and pulsating rhythms - and our music shares the rich cultures, histories and stories of the people of southern Africa. We are a unique and colourful experience and the only active professional marimba band of our kind in the UK - and possibly in all of Europe.

We provide excellent background entertainment welcoming your guests on your special day, or during your drinks reception as guests enjoy their canapés and cocktails. We also offer excellent entertainment as a main act to really get the party going.
We play traditional music from Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa, alongside contemporary African classics. Our music is rhythmic and lively, and it is guaranteed to get any crowd up and dancing. We come in different sizes - but typically perform as a 3 piece marimba band for background entertainment and as a 5 piece band if performing as a main act.

We provide great entertainment for all types of parties - from birthday parties to wedding anniversaries, engagement parties or family get togethers.
Typically, our marimba band comes as soprano, tenor and baritone marimbas with drums and vocals, but this can be easily adjusted for any type of party. We can be anything from a 3 piece to a 7 piece band or larger.
We are based in London (United Kingdom) but can easily travel for any occassion around the country, or abroad.

Our marimba band’s music shares the rich cultures, histories and stories of the people of southern Africa - performed on southern African cultural marimba and mbira instruments, accompanied by percussion, singing and dancing.
We have performed at community events and schools, as well as for corporations.
Our performances can include workshops and audience participation.
